OUR DOODLE DIFFERENCE *We have one Goldendoodle, Coco. She is a member of our family. We have no other female animals.
*Coco has one litter of puppies every two years. Coco and her puppies get our full attention. They do not have to compete with one or more litters of puppies for human contact.
*Coco is an indoor doodle. We have had her since she was 8 weeks old and she has slept inside every single night. She and her puppies are pampered daily.
*Our puppies are born and raised inside of our home. They are not kept in a kennel, barn, shed, etc...
*Our puppies are handled by humans (adult and children) multiple times every single day. Not a day goes by that they aren't being cuddled and loved on by one of us.
*Our puppies begin learning basic commands and phrases before they ever leave our home.
*We begin outdoor potty training at 6 weeks.
*Your puppy will come to you with a puppy pack that includes: ^a weeks worth of high quality puppy food ^toy ^scent blanket ^a metal comb to ensure a beautifully soft and shiny coat ^training tips ^grooming information
The life of our puppies each week
Week 1: puppies are cared for by Coco and are weighed daily. They are kept in a quiet area of our home.
Week 2: puppies are cared for by Coco and are weighed daily. They are kept in a quiet area of our home.
Week 3: puppies eyes have opened and we humans begging to handle the puppies for frequently. At the end of week 3 they are moved to our living room and we introduce softened puppy food once per day. They are also introduced used to various sounds.... opening and closing of doors, tv on low, normal human sounds we make (talking, walking, laughing, use of appliances, etc)
Week 4: at the beginning of this week, puppies begin to learn how to drink from a water bowl. Puppies continue to nurse and get 2 meals of softened puppy food per day. De-worming is given.
Week 5: puppies start getting brushed daily with a met comb. This is to get them accustomed to the feel of the comb. They continue to receive softened puppy food and Coco begin weaning them.
Week 6: puppies are taken to the vet to receive their vaccines. After vaccines are given, puppies are introduced to our fenced back yard. They will finish the weaning process and be introduced to unsoftened puppy food. De-worming is given. Puppies are introduced to bath water and the blow dryer.
Week 7: puppies continue potty training by being taken outside to potty immediately upon waking up and shortly after they eat. They will begin learning the phrases "go potty", "stop", "sit", "no", etc. We also introduce car rides at this time. They are taken 2 at a time and are securely harnessed in our SUV. We try to do this daily for each puppy until they leave our home. Puppies are bathed again and are dried with a blow dryer.
Week 8: puppies will continue with potty training, riding in a car, and basic commands/phrases. Puppies are bathed again and are dried with a blow dryer. Puppies can now leave our home to go to their forever home.
